Exciting news from the Prague Debate Spring tournament, which took place remotely from 10 to 11 April!

In the international tournament, which was attended by 80 teams from all over the world, the VJG team - Emilija Pacauskaitė, Pranas Kraučiūnas, Gustė Malinauskaitė and Lidija Radzevičiūtė - made it through to the tournament's eight finals.

At this stage, we are delighted to meet VJG students Radvilas Pelanis and Urte Radavičiūtė, who took part in the tournament together with the Lithuanian National Debate Team, and Amelia Narkute, who took part in the tournament together with the joint team of Vilnius schools.

The VJG debaters also performed well in the individual debate: five students (Radvilas, Urtė, Emilija, Lidija and Pranas) were ranked in the top 10 speakers in the EFL (English Foreign Language) category.

Brigita Katlioriūtė, a member of the VJG Debating Club, took part in the tournament as a judge and was appointed Head Judge in the semi-finals.

In short, the members of the VJG Debating Club had a great opportunity to apply their knowledge, deepen it and strengthen their motivation to improve in the future!
