During this time only members of the Vilnius Jesuit High School (VJG) community can visit Lojoteka. On working days from 7:35 to 17:00 h, you can enter Lojoteka through the basement entrance by touching the student or staff ID card to the glowing electrical sensor. If the card has worked before, but doesn’t work anymore, you can pass through Lojoteka’s courtyard, but it’s necessary to inform a library employee about the card not working. The entrance/exit to Šv. Kazimiero street isn’t available during these specified hours.
From 16:00 to 19:00 everyone is welcome to visit Lojoteka.
Guest entrance is at 8 Šv. Kazimiero str.
Members of VJG school community may enter in two ways: through the basement entrance or the street entrance. The basement entrance card reader is disabled at 17:00 h, that means you won't be able to exit or enter. If you plan to stay longer than 17:00 h, you should bring your belongings with you and keep them in Lojoteka. After 17:00 the street exit is available.
During this time enter through the street entrance at 8 Šv. Kazimiero str.
Also please check for any changes in the opening hours.
Please remember that classes 5-8 are only allowed on the 1st (ground) floor until 14:00 h and on 1st and 2nd floor after 14:00. Classes 5-8 may reserve the Groupwork space on the -1 floor. More information in the visiting schedule.
Attention! If VJG students are staying after 17:00 h, please take your belongings from the school and bring them to Lojoteka. The basement entrance card reader is disabled at 17:00 h.
VJG students should go to Lojoteka without their outside-wear (we leave it in our school locker or bring it to Lojoteka’s hanger/locker).

In Lojoteka, we can drink drinks, which are in closed containers, but we can only eat in the catacombs or cafeteria. Eating in Lojoteka is not allowed.
There can’t be more than 3 people using the net (on the 2nd floor) at the same time. We ask you not to eat and drink while using the net, not to have small things and remove your shoes. Here you can read, snooze, and rest.
Lojoteka has self-service machines to help readers pick up their books. You can find a book by its code – a unique number for each book that indicates its place on the shelf. You can find the code in the E-Catalogue.
If you cannot find a book in the online catalogue, please contact the library staff.
General rules for the arrangement of books in the library:
on the 1st floor, look for fiction by foreign and Lithuanian authors, religion, theology, philosophy and psychology books;
on the 2nd floor, all other subject literature (history, mathematics, geography, physics, etc.).
You can find all the books in the library in the E-Catalogue. We recommend using it when you don't have time to search or wait for a librarian to find a book.
Find and order a book through the electronic catalogue, and when it is ready, come and collect it contactlessly at the Lojoteka Book Issue/Return Station. You can reach the station from Lojoteka or from Šv. Kazimiero street weekdays 7:35-19:00 and Saturdays 11:00-16:00.
Allways wait to be notified that the book is ready in your E-Catalogue environment. For details on how to use, register and order publications in the E-catalogue, see E-Catalog.
