Open Call For Media Literacy Educators And Lecturers!
Intro. The Educational Media Center “Lojoteka” is a unique project founded mutually by Vilnius Jesuit High School and Lithuanian Jesuit Province. Its main goals are to provide high quality cultural facilities for communities and to make media literacy, sciences, religion and overall educational processes both - interactive and ceaseless. Lojoteka is considered to be a modern media center that satisfies the combined informational needs of contemporary society and appeals to various individuals of different professions, education, ages.
Who are we looking for?
We are gathering the cultural community and opening our doors to media literacy educators and lecturers, who could offer unique media literacy educations and/or artistic group activities.
Conditions for the competition:
- The competition is open to all media literacy educators and lecturers organizing educational and/or artistic group activities.
- A free-form description of the activity is mandatory: How innovative is the education/artistic activity? What educations/artistic activities are planned to be implemented? What is the duration of the sessions, how many sessions there are? What technical conditions are required for the implementation of the education/artistic activity (lighting, audio, video equipment, etc.)? Application form is below.
- Description of the target audience of the education/artistic activity.
- CV of the educator/lecturer or leader of the initiative group (education, experience in educational/artistic projects, achievements).
Requirements:
- The program must be original;
- Contestants must have the copyright of the works used in the activities / education.
What do we offer?

- The organizer of the activities can secure income by charging a fee for organized activities, but it is necessary to have Self-employment under an individual activity certificate.
- Activities can only be organized during specific times:
From August 22 to June 20 |
From June 21 to August 20 |
Weekdays from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. |
Weekdays from 10 p.m. until 7 p.m. |
Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. |
Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. |
Applicants who best meet the requirements for the competitive selection will be notified in person and invited for an interview.
Ideas can be submitted until 2022 May 30 (23:59 LT time) by filling in the electronic participant form.
